Student Life FAQ
Students from out of state or who live too far to commute back and forth to class will be required to attend Mt. Pocono House of Prayer Church for their home church while attending Seminary. This provides for a wholesome spiritual atmosphere for students who have just left home or who are not used to being away from the home church.
A grade point average of at least 2.0 must be maintained during the course of study in the college. Any student having an average below 2.0 for the semester’s work will be placed on Academic Probation for the next semester.
A student on probation will be given one semester to make a 2.0 average on all courses pursued during that semester.
A student who is on final probation must attain a 2.0 average or be placed on Academic Suspension. After the lapse of one semester, a student may re-enter on probation. If this probation is not removed by attaining a 2.0 average in the next semester, the student will be dismissed from the college.
Extension students are given six months to finish the prescribed work. Each month thereafter will result in a letter grade drop in their grade unless arrangements are made in advance.
